Tips to keep in mind when delivering your lessons

Class management is very important when it come to delivering a lesson and having an effective lesson explanation, which includes full understanding of the study subject by the students. In order to make the classroom lessons run smoothly there are some simple rules and tips you may follow:

Lead the class
When teaching remember you are the leader and your students should follow. You are there to show them the way and they are there to follow your every step to reach the high point that is learning through your lesson explanation while in your guidance.

Practice
Keep in mind that whatever you give out to your students it will be easily remembered if you know how to make them practice it time after time. Practice is a student's best friend. It will help them remember but also improve what they learn.

Engage
Engage your students in class discussions, make sure you are managing the discussions and leading them the way you want to but at the same time make sure your students feel like they are important in this discussion and make them understand that this way they can learn from each other.

Demonstrate
Don't forget to show your students what's important in your classroom and what is not. For example if a student is excellent for a long period of time, class after class don't forget to reward them. Demonstrating that you are aware of such things will make students believe in you. If a student is not doing good enough start trying to understand why.

Build a culture
When building a culture here we don't mean what you may think of at first glance. I mean building a culture that represents just your class like for example, we always start with homework, or we never forget the homework and other things you may think of to do while delivering your lesson.

Organize your lesson
Always remember to make a lesson plan before class so that you have a clear mind on what you are going to do when in your actual class, this way you won't be confused and you will be able to manage your students better.

Rules and Procedures
Make class rules that students have to follow and procedures they should go through in your class. This is going to help students understand how the class work and they will know which behaviors are acceptable and which are not.

Finally but not the least of importance, remember to get their feedback on what they want to change when in your classroom, ask if they like the lesson and if it is being understood by them and always make sure they can ask questions without hesitation. Effective lesson starts with effective relationships between students and teachers.
