Technology in EFL classes

For this week's post l have decided to take a look back at all the work we have been doing so far in these classes. Overall it has been a fun and challenging experience like no other l would say. We have worked alone and in groups, we helped each other and also learned so much from each other, which in my opinion is the best experience.

First of all, we were introduced to this amazing app, Blogger. It is a wonderful way to interact with your teachers and classmates at the same time but also a way to express opinions and get feedback from them. Also we learned how to be very responsible by this class cause we had a frequent homework, posting every week on the blog and also commenting on our friend's posts and express our opinions. Moreover, we learned how to create and share with our students in the future a bunch of exercises by using this tool called Hot Potato, l personally can not wait to use this one in the future. It is so helpful and super easy to use and it gives you the ability to create some very nice exercises.

Next, we also were introduced with BookWidget and WebQuest where we learned how to create lessons and plans for lessons online and share them with other teachers and our students too, if we wanted to teach them on how to create a lesson plan. As the weeks are coming to an end, we are now more focused on our final project which is gonna be a real teaching hour for each of us, as exciting as it sounds it is also scary and worrying because we want to give our best and l don't want to mess up.

Being a teacher l think is one of the most sublime professions and l am working through my classes trying to be the best version of myself l can be and also not wanting to let down other people that in the future are going to depend on me somehow, my students. Lastly, just wanted to say that by taking this class l feel closer to achieving my goal.

  1. Hi, i love the positivity that radiates through your writing. Analyzing the past experiences and sharing what we learned with each other is the best way to put them in practice. What makes the difference between finding something familiar and actually remembering the information is our attachment to the experience of learning and looking at the bigger picture. Thank you for sharing your emotions,it's honestly relatable.

  2. Hi ARIOLA. It has been a long techno journey mixed with teaching. Yes ,we were introduced to many tools that can be useful to use when teaching. "Being a teacher l think is one of the most sublime professions and l am working through my classes trying to be the best version of myself l can be and also not wanting to let down other people that in the future are going to depend on me somehow, my students", you couldn't quote better the teaching profession. You have a nice blog too. Thanks for sharing.😊

  3. Hi Dear,
I did like your post A LOT and I would pick out the sentence when you describe teaching as a sublime thing which is totally true and also your passion when confessing it as such. Thanks a lot for the topic chosen and the manner served to us! Great job😌

  4. Hi, Ariola! Great post this one. It is like a timeline of what we've been doing until now. Very helpful too. I liked it a lot, the way how you have described everything, its shortness and precision. Very good job!
